Eurovision Song Contest – Livestream Countdown

The European Broadcasting Union (EBU) commissioned a unique motion graphics countdown for the Eurovision Song Contest's social media livestreams, aiming for a blend of nostalgia and contemporary flair. Avoiding a corporate feel, the design paid homage to Eurovision's iconic aesthetic through the decades, complemented by music from Voyager, an Australian band that participated in the contest. The countdown captivated viewers with its mix of vintage designs and a specially created test card graphic, perfectly encapsulating the spirit of Eurovision.
